Argentina’s Boca Juniors is one of the world’s great football clubs. Its youth teams have produced many Argentinean megastars including: Carlos Tevez, Fernando Gago and Ever Banega. Every year, around forty thousand kids try out for the youth teams, with at most thirty selected. The Football Boys follows a year in the life of the larger-than-life scouts who travel the country looking for the next megastar; as they balance playing skills within a tangled mess of dreams, nerves, family pressures and financial interests.
